Welcome to Travelhers! Travelhers is a membership-based online community of aspirational women that travel. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Travelhers mobile application (the “App”) and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). 

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application, creating an account, RSVPing to an event, attending an event, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using Travelhers, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Travelhers is a community designed for women who align with our core principles of respect, inclusivity, and shared travel experiences. Each applicant will undergo a vetting process to ensure they uphold these values. Membership is granted at Travelhers’ sole discretion to those who demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Safety and trust are fundamental to the Travelhers experience. To maintain a secure and welcoming space for our members, we selectively approve individuals who reflect our values and contribute to a culture of mutual respect and care. This process helps ensure that our community remains a trusted network where women can confidently connect, share experiences, and explore the world together.

Membership and Selection Criteria

Travelhers is a curated community, and not all applicants may be granted access. Membership approval is based on a variety of factors, including engagement with travel and cultural experiences, alignment with the community’s values, and profile authenticity. Travelhers reserves the right to accept, decline, or remove memberships at its sole discretion without providing specific reasons. Members are expected to contribute positively to the community and abide by these Terms and community guidelines.

In order to gain access to the app, prospective users will be asked to complete a brief application, with accepted users being offered membership. All applications will be considered; however, we reserve complete control and sole discretion regarding who is granted membership to the app. Among the factors that our membership committee considers in reviewing applications is the extent of the applicant’s connection to existing members, as we’ve found an existing “real world” network within the community to be among the best indicators of an applicant’s engagement and enjoyment on the app. Those who are not granted access will be placed on our waitlist, which is continually reviewed by a dedicated team for additional applicants to be admitted. By submitting an application, creating an account, RSVPing to an event, attending an event, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to receive text messages and emails from us regarding, among other things, the status of your application and other service-related updates.

You will be required to register with Travelhers and provide certain information in order to activate a membership or otherwise access and use certain features of the Service. If you choose to register for the Service, you agree to provide and maintain true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted or requested. Registration data and certain other information about you are governed by our Privacy Policy. Upon acceptance as a member, applicants will be required to select a subscription option from among various prices and durations.

In-Person Interactions

Travelhers is not responsible for the conduct of any user or your experience at any in-person meeting, event, or venue you attend through the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for your interactions with others, whether through the app, text conversations, video chats, or in-person meetups arranged through the Service. Travelhers does not conduct background checks on all users or verify user statements. We make no representations regarding user behavior, background, or compatibility. 

While the Service may be used to promote and host events, Travelhers does not oversee event planning, invite lists, or activities and is not responsible for your safety at these events. Users may choose to share their location through the Service. However, Travelhers is not responsible for any consequences of disclosing your location to other users. You agree to take necessary precautions when meeting other users in person, including exercising discretion when sharing personal information, contact details, or money.

Acceptable Use, Prohibited Activities, User Content, Third-Party Material, and Event Creators

When using Travelhers, you agree to:

• Use the App lawfully and respectfully.
• Not engage in fraudulent, harmful, or misleading activities.
• Not harass, exploit, or abuse other users.
• Not upload or share offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.

Prohibited Activities

Travelhers reserves the right to investigate, suspend, or terminate your account if it is believed, in the Company’s sole discretion, that you have misused the Service or acted in a way deemed inappropriate, improper, harassing, unlawful, overly promotional, or inconsistent with the values and mission of Travelhers. This includes actions or communications occurring outside of the Service or prior to membership on the Service.

• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities.

• Violate any applicable laws or infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.

Event Creators and Hosts

If you use the Service to create, host, promote, or invite others to an event, you acknowledge that Travelhers is not responsible for any aspect of the event, including attendee behavior or safety. You may not promote or refer to the event as an official “Travelhers event” or suggest Travelhers has any involvement beyond providing the platform for invitations. You agree to indemnify and hold Travelhers, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the event.

Third-Party Material

Travelhers is not responsible for any user-generated content or third-party materials shared on the Service. We do not pre-screen content, but we reserve the right to remove or restrict any content at our sole discretion if it violates these Terms or is deemed objectionable. Travelhers is not liable for any errors, omissions, or damages resulting from reliance on third-party content. You are solely responsible for evaluating and assuming the risks associated with using any third-party content.

User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you post, upload, link to, transmit, or share on the Service, including but not limited to messages, videos, photographs, status updates, or text (collectively, “User Content”). You may not post or share any content that is offensive, misleading, harassing, threatening, illegal, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or that infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and truthful, and you will update it if it becomes inaccurate. While Travelhers does not actively monitor all User Content, we reserve the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms or negatively impacts the community.

By posting content on the Service, you grant Travelhers a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute the content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Travelhers may access, preserve, or disclose your account information and content as required by law or if necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to claims, or protect the rights and safety of others. Content you share may be visible to other users and may be publicly accessible, depending on the settings and features of the Service.

Mobile Services

Travelhers includes features that are accessible via mobile devices, such as uploading content, browsing the Service, using the mobile app, and receiving SMS notifications. Standard charges, data rates, and fees from your wireless carrier may apply when accessing the Service on a mobile device. Some features may be restricted or unavailable depending on your carrier or device. By using the mobile features, you consent to receiving notifications from Travelhers via push notifications, SMS, or other electronic means. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you must update your account to prevent messages from being sent to the wrong person.

Terms and Termination

These Terms of Use will remain in full force and effect while you use the Service or have a Travelhers account. You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions provided in the app. Travelhers may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account or access to any part of the Service without notice. We reserve the right to remove or discard any content within the Service for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Lack of use;
• A belief that you have breached these Terms or failed to uphold our community values;
• Membership reviews and adjustments based on periodic evaluations.

We may also discontinue providing the Service or any part of it at our sole discretion without notice. Any termination of your account or access to the Service may occur at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, Travelhers may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related data, preventing further access to the Service.

All membership subscription fees and in-app purchases are final and non-refundable. Travelhers does not offer refunds for prepaid membership fees or unused in-app purchases. We are not liable for any termination-related loss or damage.

Intellectual Property

Travelhers owns and retains all proprietary rights in the Service, including all trademarks, patents, trade names, service marks, and other intellectual property rights related to the platform. The Service contains copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, and other proprietary information belonging to Travelhers and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or use any copyrighted material, trademarks, trade names, service marks, or other intellectual property from the Service without prior written consent from Travelhers or the rightful owner. You may not remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices appearing on the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms of Use at any time at our sole discretion. The most recent version will always be available at [Insert Website Terms URL]. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Apple-Enabled Software Applications

These Terms apply to any version of the Travelhers App downloaded from the Apple App Store or used on an Apple-branded device. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the Travelhers App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App, including product liability claims, legal compliance claims, or claims arising under consumer protection laws. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and by using the App on an Apple device, you agree that Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Disclaimers

Travelhers, including its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• The conduct of any user, whether online or in person.
• Attendance at any event or venue posted or promoted through the Service.
• Content posted by users or technical issues within the Service.
• Service interruptions, errors, or discontinued features.
• Unauthorized access to user communications or personal data.
• Technical failures, including network or system malfunctions.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Travelhers does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service and disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Any materials downloaded or obtained through the Service are accessed at your own risk, and Travelhers is not responsible for any resulting damage to your device or data. If you do not accept these limitations, you are not authorized to use the Service.

Limitation on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travelhers and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, business partners, licensors, or service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, service interruptions, or procurement of substitute services. Travelhers does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service and is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, including issues with networks, servers, or software failures. Your use of the Service is at your own risk. Any material downloaded or obtained through the Service is accessed at your own discretion, and you are solely responsible for any damage to your device or data loss resulting from such activities. If you do not accept this limitation on liability, you are not authorized to use the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the UK.
